Slack Frontiers 2017- Recap

Being the mecca of tech, it’s no surprise that Slack chose San Francisco to host its first-ever Frontiers: a two-day conference that brought together leading thinkers, Slack customers, developers, and partners to explore how the nature of teamwork is changing.

From happy hours, inspiring break-out sessions, and meeting Andre Iguodala from the Golden State Warriors, it was the place to be, and we were thrilled to be a part of it!

With sponsors like Workato and Donuts, we got the chance to explore how companies in tech are breaking barriers by using Slack to eliminate friction in their communication. We also had the opportunity to give attendees a sneak-peak of a new powerful integration we have in the works (stay tuned for more on that in the coming weeks!).

Although there were many exciting aspects to the conference, our favorite part was meeting GoToMeeting users who visited us at our booth! Gaining valuable feedback from our existing users (the good, the bad, and the ugly) motivates us to do better and give our customers the best experience possible. We’d like to thank those that stopped to learn about our product and inspire us to create a seamless tool to help bridge communication gaps and foster better collaboration. As Christina Janzer, head of User Research at Slack put it: tools have the ability to bring companies and people together”, and that’s what we strive for here at GoToMeeting.

Check out some of our photos below. We can’t wait for next year!
