Sometimes, even we are pleasantly surprised by the way our products and our team make our customers’ lives a little easier.
It all started a couple months ago when Jennifer, a cloud-computing professional from the Seattle area, left her iPad on an Alaska Airlines flight. Anyone who has ever been tired after a long trip knows how easily this can happen. And you also know what a headache it can be to get your missing gadgets back.
But, thanks to a coordinated outside-the-box response, Jennifer’s iPad didn’t stay in missing-device purgatory for long. A quick-thinking Alaska Airlines employee found the device and noticed a GoToMeeting session reminder for which Jennifer was the organizer. The employee then contacted Joe, a Citrix customer service representative, who was able to use Jennifer’s custom meeting ID to share her missing iPad’s whereabouts with her before she even knew the tablet had fallen out of her bag.
A few days later, her iPad safely returned, Jennifer summed up the experience nicely: “Not only do I use GoToMeeting successfully every day, but I am thrilled with your customer service.”
